Shadowrun Anarchy 2.0 is coming to Kickstarter!

This summer has been a busy one for Team Catalyst! We’ve been working hard on making awesome new experiences for you to enjoy and today offers us the opportunity to share one of those with you!

Catalyst Game Labs has partnered with Black Book Editions to bring Shadowrun: Anarchy 2.0 to Kickstarter this summer! This new edition of the rules-light Anarchy system has been pioneered by Black Book Editions, with whom we have worked in the past to bring the French localization of the first edition of Anarchy, as well as the Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth World editions of Shadowrun. These people know their Shadowrun and were excited to help develop this new version of the Anarchy engine.

Staying true to Shadowrun’s iconic blend of near-future cyberpunk grit and arcane mysticism, Anarchy 2.0 offers a fast, cinematic approach to the Sixth World—ideal for newcomers or those who prefer narrative-first gameplay. It retains the franchise’s beloved setting and rich character creation options while paring down detailed mechanics to spotlight storytelling and action.

This edition is specifically designed to welcome new runners to the table, including those unfamiliar with decades of Shadowrun metaplot. Whether you're a veteran GM or someone who's always been curious about Shadowrun but intimidated by its rules, Anarchy 2.0 is your chance to jack in.
