Flippin' Ninjas and Restocks

Catalyst Board Games has been hard at work making another slate of great games! Following the 2024 launches of Parachute Panda, Fandooble and the Dragon’s Eye, Overlords in Training, Shadowrun: Edgezone, and the soft launch of BattleTech: Encounters, we are gearing up for another amazing year.

We have actually been teasing one of the highlights of this year with Flippin’ Ninjas! Command ninjas, dragons, samurai, and more in this thoughtfully strategic board game. Your goal is to take your foe’s daimyo, and neither you nor your opponent know where exactly your pieces are on the board. Reveal your pieces and strike as you can to fight your way to the daimyo, which only the ninja can capture! Each and every game is unique, as you never know where your pieces will start and what strategies you have to use to win.

This exciting game features a gorgeous neoprene game mat and 30 “bamboo” game tiles.This game is suitable for kids 8 and up, takes between 15 and 30 minutes to play, and is a great way to test memory and strategic thinking! You will see Flippin’ Ninjas hit store shelves and our recently-updated website on April 2nd. 

Restocks

Our 2024 launches were absolute hits! This fact has led to us needing to order another print run of some of these titles. Parachute Panda has been a rarity since August of 2024, but is now coming back in stock! Alongside our skydiving, masked ursid game, we will also be seeing a restock of BattleTech: Encounters, ready for a retail release with Flippin’ Ninjas on April 2nd.

We are looking forward to 2025 and all of the new experiences and games that it will bring to our tables! Catalyst Game Labs will be sharing more in the coming months as we get ready to announce other cool projects that are coming down the pipe. We already know of Pathfinder: Runefire, Shadowrun: Takedown, the Voltron: Legendary Defender board game, and our Quincy’s Tavern partnership, but more is yet to come!

One of those things is a partnership that we would like to announce! We will be working with Universal Studios to bring Kung Fu Panda to tabletop! We will have more information soon about this in the future.
