The BattleTech Rulebooks Bundle contains the 5 core rulebooks published before Total Warfare, starting with the BattleTech Manual published in 1987 (only 3 years into BattleTech's life), to the BattleTech Master Rules [Revised Edition] published by FanPro 14 years latter. A great snapshot of the development of the rules across the lifetime of the BattleTech line.
While players are free to use any rules set they wish, all of these rulebooks have been superseded by Total Warfare, TechManual, Tactical Operations and Strategic Operations.
